WASHINGTON – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) released the following statement in response to the House passage of H.R. 83, the Omnibus Appropriations for FY 2015. The legislation would keep most of the federal government funded through next September, with exception of funding the Department of Homeland Security, which will expire next February.
WASHINGTON – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) today introduced H.R. 5791, the Fines in Need of Extensive Reform (FINER) Act of 2014. The legislation is a two part bill that aims to add more transparency to the federal regulatory system and change how regulatory fine appeals are handled.
