Mullin Votes to Make Tax Cuts Permanent for Individuals and Small BusinessesCongressman Markwayne Mullin voted today in support of H.R. 6760, the Protecting Family and Small Business Tax Cuts Act. H.R. 6760 makes the tax cuts from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, passed in December 2017, permanent for individuals and small businesses. “Our country depends on small businesses and the hardworking individuals who work day-in-and-day-out to put food on the table for their families,” said Mullin. “Today, Congress makes good on its promise to make the individual and small business tax cuts in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent. “The impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is unmistakable,” continued Mullin. “More than 6 million workers received bonuses, better benefits, or pay increases. There are more job openings available than people who are looking for work. Wages are up, unemployment is down, and overall optimism hit record highs in the last nine months.
