Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) today encouraged all Adair county residents to complete the 2020 Census. 

“Participating in the Census is your Constitutional duty,” Mullin said. “Your response ensures your community gets the right amount of funding for schools, roads, emergency services and other public services. If you don’t respond, your community won’t get the funding and representation it deserves. I encourage everyone in Adair County to take the less than five minutes to fill out the questionnaire online or by phone.”

According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, only 58 percent of Oklahoma households have completed their census. Adair County is among the counties with the lowest response rate in the state. The deadline to respond to the 2020 Census is September 31, 2020.
