Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) has announced the schedule for his 2017 Veteran Information Day events. The two events will be held on April 19 and 20, 2017.
Mullin holds annual Veteran Information Days to give veterans and their families the opportunity to learn more about the resources that are available to them. The events are free and no registration is necessary to attend the events.
Representatives from veterans service groups and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will be present at each event to share information and answer questions. Caseworkers from Mullin’s congressional offices will also be available to help any veteran or military family requiring a liaison to a federal agency.
“Veteran Information Days were created with our Oklahoma veterans in mind,” Mullin said. “By bringing various veteran organizations all to one place, our veterans and their families can access the resources necessary to solve a problem they may be having with a federal agency.”
