Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) announced two upcoming Veterans Information Workshops to assist any veteran residing in the Second District of Oklahoma. The events will be held on Monday, April 30 and Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Congressman Mullin hosts Veterans Information Workshops each year to give veterans and their families the opportunity to learn more about resources and assistance that are available. The events are free and no registration is necessary to attend.
“Veterans Information Workshops were created with our Oklahoma veterans in mind,” Mullin said. “When we bring various veteran organizations together under one roof, our veterans and their families can access the resources necessary to receive their well-deserved compensation and benefits. I’m looking forward to connecting Oklahoma’s veterans with the assistance they need at our upcoming workshops.”
Representatives from veterans service groups and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will be present at each event to share information and answer questions. Caseworkers from Congressman Mullin’s offices will also be available to help any veteran or military family in need of help with compensation claims, military records, or obtaining earned military medals.
